•explore the role we can play as leaders to help lead the shifts towards a more preventative approach
•share some of the enablers that help drive us all to better wellbeing cultures in our workplaces
•and look at what this means as we move into a recovery phase for our people.
The GM Health and Care Learning Environment with Karen Heggs, GM Project Lead – HEE Enabling Effective Learning Environments
March 2021 saw the launch of the Greater Manchester Health and Care Learning Environment Strategy 2021-2024. The strategy has been developed in partnership with colleagues from across the Greater Manchester health and care system and the four GM Universities.
The session provided a valuable overview of the strategy which will be pivotal in the delivery of practice education to support the development of our future healthcare workforce for GM. In the development of the strategy the team have embraced innovations and challenge in response to Covid-19 and this will also inform the recovery. The development of the strategy was presented at the summit in November 2020 and the presentation has allowed the opportunity to gain further insight into the developed strategy.
